Nomading in Kenya: Plus a Free Book!

Being a Nomad Ain't All Sunshine and Rainbows A comment I get a lot from friends in reaction to pics I post on socials from around the world is:"Living the dream!" Which is precisely why I don't post many pics on socials, because I don't want to give out the impression that I'm living the dream. Living this nomadic existence is definitely not all sunshine and rainbows. There are challenges and it's not for everyone. Many newbie nomads don't last a year. Heck, some don't even last six months,...

Alicante on Spain's Costa Blanca

Welcome to the most infrequent newsletter in the history of newsletters. And most likely the last for 2023. As usual, I've been busy. After moving from country to country, working a remote job, finishing up my first novel and preparing it for launch, I've finally found time to fill in my subscribers. Thank you for your patience. Exploring Spain's Costa Blanca I entered Spain in the middle of a brutal heat wave. Thought I'd get some relief from the topics of the Philippines, but nope, this was...

Yep, that's what I've just done. Do I recommend it? Yes and no. Traveling around the world - yes. In 67 days - no. Lesson 1. Slow travel is best for the nomad As amazing as it was, traveling as a nomad, most of my time was spent working. So, my free time went towards organizing and traveling to the next destination. This left little time left to properly explore and experience my local. Sintra, one hour train ride from Lisbon was a highlight To be fair, I didn't plan on circumnavigating the...

I write this from a Japanese bullet train leaving the world’s largest metropolis, or megalopolis, Tokyo. The sheer size of the city is mind boggling. I have been on the train for about half an hour now going seriously fast and we’re still not out of the city. Getting on the right train was stressful. Tokyo Central Station is a massive underground labyrinth to navigate, and everything is in Japanese. Luckily, the Japanese are very helpful. Look confused enough and someone will help you out. I...

Welcome to my very first newsletter. I wish it was off to a better start but, it begs the question... Do I know what I am doing? Hell no! But I am advised to do something. Anything. So, I am faking it till I make it. First of all, here is the correct book. You know, the one you signed up for, The Complete Digital Nomad Visa Guide. You can keep the other one too, Killer Tips for a Killer Website, in case it comes in handy. And in a final bid for your forgiveness, you can download my much...
